That’s why we developed THE pow{h}er METHOD®.

Though it is an extremely form focused method (based on 25 years of dance research and experience, and over a decade of mind body fitness study, training, and master instruction), what really sets THE pow{h}er METHOD® apart from other programs is rooted in something much deeper than technical knowledge.

Crafted during a time of personal struggle, founder Amy Weber began adding movements in her own barre and cardio classes that were designed to offer a new purpose… a guided intention of empowering others through movement.  By structuring her classes around words of encouragement, honesty and vulnerability, Amy quickly discovered that many of the women taking her classes were also dealing with difficult things in their lives and often lacked a time or place to receive peace, healing and encouragement.

As THE pow{h}er METHOD® grew our studio became a comm{unity} filled with women eager to {r}ise up and overcome their fears and experience fitness from the inside out.

Applying this technique to all of our classes, THE pow{h}er METHOD® was formed to be shared with the world.  Along with our signature barre n’ pow{h}er and tap n’ pow{h}er® classes, we also offer certifications in cardio, strength and balance classes with beginner, intermediate and advanced level trainings.

Instructors attending trainings will experience hands on technique, learn proper form and alignment, cuing and guidance on how to structure a class around words of encouragement, truth and integrity.

All of our instructor trainings are accredited by NETA for continuing education credits (CECs). With submission of our exemplary teacher training workbook, many other fitness associations also consider our program for CECs/CEUs.

After your training you will have continued support on our instructor only network filled with instructional videos, full length classes, tips, social media campaign videos, logos and more!

tap n’ pow{h}er®

tap n’ pow{h}er®, a strength, cardio, and balance fusion class, is designed to shape, tone and elongate while delivered with messages of empowerment. tap n’ pow{h}er is an extremely form focused method based on 25 years of dance research and experience, and over a decade of mind body fitness study, training, and master instruction. Combining rotational, linear, isometric, range of motion and compound movement, tap n’ pow{h}er takes you on a challenging and empowering journey unlike any other.

The structure of tap n’ pow{h}er takes a thoughtful approach at building deep muscle strength, tone, flexibility, balance, and alignment to women’s bodies. tap n’ pow{h}er is not for the quitter. It’s for the woman who finds strength in the struggle and empowerment in her accomplishments. Improving balance has vast benefits and aids in the body’s: neuromuscular strength, proprioception, and muscle isolation, hip and core stabilization, rehabilitation of muscles and joints, and enhanced caloric burning.

tap n’ pow{h}er is designed to test clients will and focus. Much like life, when clients stumble in this class, they are encouraged to get back up, reposition, refocus, and persevere. Inspired by the art of tap dancing, tap n’ pow{h}er, incorporates controlled strength training exercises interspersed with cardio intervals and postures that lengthen and strengthen. NOTE: No dance experience is necessary to have a successful experience!This class uses an interval-based safe yet challenging format to aid and promote muscle confusion to deliver fast and lasting results. tap n’ pow{h}er is a challenging hour of balance and strength inspired by the mind, body, and spirit connection to LIFE and LIFE ABUNDANT!

barre n’ pow{h}er

barre n’ pow{h}er combines traditional isometric barre movements (Pilates, dance and stretching) with a safe, neutral spine practice to build deep muscle strength, tone, flexibility, balance, and alignment to give you beautiful, sculpted, lean muscles – without the impact and injuries dancers endure. In each energizing and targeted workout, you’ll use the barre and exercise equipment such as mini-balls and small hand weights to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body.Each class is choreographed to motivating music and offers unique, safe, and fun variations to allow continuous evolution within the mind, body, and spirit.

energy n’ pow{h}er

energy n’ pow{h}er is a challenging class of movement and vitality. Stamina and strength are challenged and further developed through high intensity heart rate elevating movements. This CARDIO SWEAT-FEST combines upbeat music, beautiful movement, high intensity interval training, and our signature messages of empowerment. Designed to complement tap n’ pow{h}er, this class speaks directly to the mind, body, and spirit both in verbal cues as well as within the techniques of movement offered throughout the hour…all while ramping up the cardio! Participants will be challenged through balance, range of motion, isometric holds, linear rotation, and both sustained and Tabata cardio intervals to confuse muscle groups while positively enticing the mind and spirit. Hand towels, lots of water, and smiles are encouraged.

hold n’ pow{h}er

hold n’ pow{h}er is a balance and strength fusion class of isometric posturing interspersed with dynamic and elongating stretching! Form Focused and Fearless is the mission of this class! Clients will be lead through each pose with detailed description, demonstration, tactile correction, and encouragement! The intention for hn’p is to take each individual on a unique and challenging journey to join breath, spine, and heat, while furthering the relationship of mind to body.

hold n’ pow{h}er is infused with messages of empowerment as each participant is encouraged to stretch beyond perceived boundaries and achieve fitness objectives.
